Yes. Managed hosting with SSL, backups, CDN, and monitoring. If a hosted site or app goes down after hours, there is an incident channel. Domain and SSL are included in site plans.

What is the TSE API?

A REST service to look up Costa Rica physical and legal IDs. You send the number and get JSON with name, surnames, date of birth, address (province, canton, district), and expiry. Product page: TSE API. Console: tse.apifycr.com.

Is this an official TSE or government service?

No. ApifyConnect TSE is a commercial product from Apify LATAM. We are not the Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones and this is not a government procedure. We run on API keys, quota, and a product SLA (99.5% uptime, typical latency under 200 ms).

What does it cost, and is there a trial?

Base plan $9.99 USD a month with 10,000 calls included. Extra calls are $0.045 each. There is a free trial of 1,000 lookups so you can integrate before you pay. Sign up at tse.apifycr.com/register.

How do I call the API?

HTTPS REST. Authenticate with an API key (Authorization: Bearer). Endpoint GET /api/v2/consulta/{cedula}. Works with PHP, JavaScript, Python, WordPress, CRMs, Monday.com, Zapier, Make, and any HTTP client. Docs at tse.apifycr.com.

Do you store ID lookups?

We do not keep the contents of the calls. We meter usage for quota and billing. Identity data stays in your system.

Does it work outside Costa Rica?

The lookup is for current Costa Rica identity documents (people and companies). If your app runs elsewhere but you onboard Costa Rican IDs, it still applies.

Can you help integrate it?

Yes. There is a short call with a developer, and we can implement the call in your site, CRM, or app if you need that. Write via sales or create an account and try the endpoint.

What is Journal?

Journal-FE detects, files, and organizes Costa Rica electronic invoices that arrive in email. You forward to a mailbox (Gmail or Outlook); the system recognizes them; at month end you build the Hacienda report. Accounts and plans: journal.apifycr.com.

Do I upload invoices by hand?

You set forwarding once. Each XML or voucher that hits the mailbox is filed and you get a notice. On the Pro plan you can also photograph a receipt; you review and confirm the data.

Yes. Share access, search by vendor or period, and export spend and tax reports to Excel.

What about Respond.io?

Respond.io is a third-party platform. We are a partner: we implement the omnichannel inbox, WhatsApp, chatbots, and IVR on your channels and systems. Respond.io’s subscription is separate; our job is to get it running.

Can you customize Journal or the TSE API?

Those products have their own console and API contract. If you need a flow they do not cover, we treat it as custom software or integration, not as a one-off fork of the product.

By scope: complexity, timeline, and integrations. Request a quote with the process and the systems. Larger projects get a payment calendar.

Do websites have list prices?

Yes, on websites: high-conversion landing from ₡45,000 a year (or ₡65,000 setup) and a presence site from ₡49,000 a year. Apps, stores, and integrations are quoted separately.

TSE API: $9.99 a month with 10,000 calls; extras at $0.045. Journal is billed on journal.apifycr.com according to the plan you pick there.

SINPE or bank transfer, cards, and Costa Rica electronic invoicing. The exact method is in the proposal. We issue an e-invoice.

How do you handle data?

HTTPS in transit, authenticated accounts, backups on hosting and products, and access limited to the team running the project. The privacy policy covers processing. The TSE API does not persist lookup contents.

Do you certify GDPR or run pentests?

We follow sound data-handling practice for work in Costa Rica. If your project needs GDPR, a specific residency, or a security test, that goes in the scope and is quoted. It is not bundled into every contract.
